Our recent conference in Otautahi Christchurch was excellent. We had 3 days - one at University of Canterbury and Waimairi School, one ased at Turanga (ChCh Library) and finished up workshopping at the Sudima Hotel. We had very worthwhile, interesting speakers - Lianne Dalziel, Shane Fletcher, Mike Anderson, Minister Hipkins, MOE, Teachers Coucnil, Lester Flockton and Hana O'Regan. the entertainment and food was terrific. It was an awesome experience. We look forward to Auckland in 2023, and know that we have a good group of sponsors behind us to help support the experience.
It was so lovely to see everyone socialising through the few days we had together. For some this was a new experience as first time attendees. NAMSA is unique as there are only 29 of us, so we have something in common, and by taking the opportunity to network at least once a year, the small number of us make things more personal and stronger relationships get formed.
